Meet the Librarian
My name is Sherry Burnett. I am starting my eleventh year as Librarian for Lamar. I love what I do and take pride in my job. I am a former TISD student and a forever WILDCAT! I enjoy learning with kids and helping them grow and think. I have been in education for over 25 years and every day is a new experience! I try to express love for reading, engaging lessons and love for technology. The Bearcat Family prides ourselves in being loving, caring people who work hard for each other and our community. I'm proud to be a member! I am open everyday until 4:15. Bearcats are athletes, readers, thinkers, learners and listeners. Come by any time for a book! I'd love to visit with you!
