Meet the Principal

Hello! I am the proud principal, Ms. Yvette Bradford. I was born and raised in Temple, Texas. I attended Emerson, Meridith-Dunbar, Travis, and Temple High School. In 1997, I was a recipient of Temple ISD's Grow-Your-Own Scholarship, which allowed me to attend the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and return to Temple ISD as a teacher at Scott Elementary and Bonham Middle School. After obtaining my master's degree from Tarleton State University, I became an assistant principal in Round Rock ISD. I am honored to lead in the community that has loved and raised me. I am most proud of being the mother of my son Armand and my late daughter Armani. 

At Lamar, we are dedicated to creating a collaborative, student-centered, growth-oriented learning community with our parents and students. We know that when we work together, there is no way that we can fail. We are excited about the future of Lamar Middle School and the students we serve.
